Brought back wonderful memories of our trip in 2007. Superb photograph album and excellent guide to this special area. We went on a motorhome trip knowing little about the area. Thank you for sharing this.

This is just to say that the site has recently undergone a major update.

1. The Cirque Sans Nom route from Perquelin has been improved, and now descends through the Chaos de Bellefond.

2. A new route has been added to the Dent de Crolles section (Dôme de Bellefont from Perquelin ascending through the Chaos de Bellefond).

3. A new route has been added in the northern section, traversing the ridge from Mont Joigny to Mont Pellat. This route is highly recommended.

4. The Cirque St. Même waterfalls walk has been added for completeness, but includes a visit to the Grotte du Guiers Vif.

5. A fine walk has been added that traverses the ridges to the east and north of Sappey.

6. The visit to Grotte Chevalier has been removed, owing to recent concerns about the stability of the entrance of the cave.

7. The PDF version of this website now has a hyperlinked table of contents.

8. Many minor modifications have also been made, and photographs added
