Just an excellent website and justified coverage of a beautiful part of France. we live in Corenc - the southern gateway from Grenoble. We have yet to climb Grand Som but otherwise know the area well.

Well done

Thank you! 14

Thank you for an excellent site. I'm in process of planning a holiday in the Chartreuse on the basis of it - the local tourist board ought to pay you a commission :-)

hello dear english, I'm a frog eater. I've visited your site, which is very nice. I live near Chartreuse Montains and I like hiking. My best Chartreuse trip is " les inscriptions romaines" by the "col de Fontanieu" then descent by "le pas de la mort". Congratulations and welcome in France for your future trip . J-P Lacour

I am french. I live in Grenoble and I know very well the French Alpes (walking, scrambling, ski). I have read this walking guide, and i think it is very well-made. I have found no error, and the maps are exact. Bravo.

Perhaps what you saw is a hummingbird moth; I've seen them in the area.

This is a great site, by the way!!
