Location: On the north side of the Legerins Vein, about 150 m ESE of Bycliffe House.

This is a 70 cm high natural grit boulder overlooking the worked Legerins vein. The initials seem to be a backwards R and a W, although there also seems to be a second W inscribed at right angles to the R. This may be a reference to Robert Waterhouse who held leases in the area in the mid-1700's.
