The Lined Entrance Tunnel in Hebden Horse Level

Photograph of the lined entrance tunnel

This photograph, taken in December 2012 by Stuart Hesletine, shows the lined entrance tunnel of the Horse Level. Daylight can be seen at the end of the tunnel. The breeze-block plinths on the left were used to support pipes and tanks for a salmon hatchery by the local fish farm. Note the water running along the floor. Click the image to see a larger version.
