White Horses of Kilburn

Hand-painted silk collage 30 x 20 cm.

Based on the Kilburn White Horse monument on the edge of the North York Moors, this piece shows two horses moving through swirling colour.

I work in silk collage for a crisp line and glowing colour, and strive to convey the atmosphere and drama of Britain's landscapes and monuments.
