Castlerigg Stone, Eden Valley

Hand-painted silk collage 10 x 7.5 cm.

This depicts one of the large stones from the impressive Catlerigg Stone Circle near Keswick in the Lake District.

I work in silk collage for a crisp line and glowing colour, and strive to convey the atmosphere and drama of Britain's landscapes and monuments.
